Full Moon

I am one month old. The Chinese tradition to celebrate "Full Moon" as to acknowledge everyone that I am ready for the world! After one month of confinement, I am finally free but not really! Me parents were not Chinese completely...! They decided to break the rule and I was out of the house 17 days after birth for a shopping spree at IKEA - me parents favourite place. I was tugged comfortablely in Ergo infant carrier and was sound as sleep amidst the noisy surrounding. Some were curious to find me legs dangling out of the carrier but the Chinese were shocked to know I was only 17 days old! Well, at the end of the day, I survived the outing without a scratch! My full moon was celebrated with Malay stlye buffet, some pastries, Chinese sweet & sour soup and red coloured hard boiled eggs with ginger/papaya pickle. Many friends surrounded me while I slept soundly. I am happy to be around with such good vibes. What will be my first word...?

New Beginning

My parents, Alexander Edward Anthony McNAB & Joyce Leong Siaw Yung received me, Stewart William McNAB on the 9th May 2007 at 9:24pm. It was Wednesday night when I wasn't ready to come out from me mommy's comfortable womb. The doctor in Putrajaya, Malaysia decided to induce me mommy 10 days after me due date so I would be forced out to avoid any complication which might happen to me but I know I was healthy and me Daddy was sure about it. Modern technology have taken over the natural process of labour and caused unnecessary panic to me parents. Finally, the moment has arrived and me mommy felt fear. For daddy, he was all excited. Push after push, I was trying to get out but changed mine and returned to me lair until then the paniced doctor jump up to press on me mommy's tummy! It was the decision of me parents to give them all at the final stages before C-section was to be considered...!!! Here I am, borned into the world. What to expect next? (...to be continue)
